The intelligent crawler uses a hydraulic cutter head to break down underwater mud and transfers the mud into the slag discharge system through air lift. With the help of underwater sensors, the crawler can be remotely controlled and monitored in real time by computers on a surface operating platform.
Different from traditional suction dredgers, the crawler is able to excavate silty clay. More importantly, the vehicle can carry out excavation in unknown areas and efficient and precise suction in a shaft structure, ensuring visible, measurable, and controllable sinking of open caisson.
